About Us

The Story behind B&B

Burkett was instrumental in the formation of the Preferred Builder Program by Big Canoe Developer Bill Byrne in 1993. Projects for the Big Canoe POA include the renovation of the Canoe Lodge (currently the POA offices) and the Sconti Club Veranda. While, Bruce has designed, remodeled and or built approximately 280 to 300 homes in Big Canoe over the past 22 years.
